When I was younger, I was under the illusion that life was supposed to be easy. That led me to believe that I was doing something wrong.
I was missing the inherent truth that life has challenges, life has adversity and life presents obstacles but those aren’t sent to us to defeat us or punish us.
They are sent to us to refine us: our strength, our wisdom and the beauty of our character.
Once I understood this, life FELT easier and I became better at surfing the tides of life. (Better, not perfect. I still wipe out.)

College Basketball Star to Sales Team Leader - Pat Carroll
Pat Carroll is no stranger to thriving. He was on the St. Joseph's Hawks basketball team in 2003-4 season when they achieved the perfect season and finished as the top-ranked team in the country. They were undefeated and made it to the Elite Eight of the NCAA basketball tournament and were one shot away from making it to the Final Four. Pat went on to play professionally and now brings that same winning mentality to his work as a pharmaceutical sales team leader. In this interview, he shares what he learned from his experience on the team and being coached by some of the nation's best coaches.
